Equipment Hire Terms and Conditions

Our offer of "We will beat any competitors price on hire gear or its FREE!*" and "Best family and group prices guaranteed!*is limited to the following:

  1. Competitors must be within a 100km radius of our Talbingo location.

  2. Equipment must be of the same type and standard as stocked by us.

  3. Equipment must be in stock and available for hire at our location.

  4. All prices are based on the total package price of equipment for the group or family and not on individual items.

  5. Competitor prices quoted must be a current offer (ie must be available within the current date range) and the customer must provide evidence to our satisfaction (such as advertisement, catalogue or website) of the unconditional offer to the public of the product at the advertised price at the time of hire.

  6. gPo reserve the right to change this offer and subsequent conditions at any time.

Standard Conditions

  1. gPo will only accept signed credit card receipts (not cash) to hold as security deposit until goods returned.

  2. All equipment must be returned by 5pm on the due date or as arranged. The daily hire rate will be charged for each day the goods are overdue.

  3. All equipment must be returned in the same order and condition as at the time of hiring.

  4. The hirer accepts full responsibility for all equipment hired. Should loss, theft, breakage or damage occur, the hirer agrees to pay in full all replacement or repair costs as set by gPo or its representatives.

  5. Goods other than gPo products will not be accepted as replacement under any circumstances.

  6. Goods are to be returned in an acceptable condition. A minimum cleaning charge of $15 per item will be levied if equipment returned is not to the satisfaction of gPo or as arranged.

  7. All goods must be paid for in full at time of pick up.

  8. A 20% cancellation fee per booking will be applicable up until 48 hrs. before departure/pick up thereafter non refundable.

  9. Goods can be returned ONLY to the store from which they were collected.

  10. gPo will endeavour to supply the colour and model of equipment you have viewed at time of booking. In peak season, please note that availability is subject to change without notice.

  11. gPo accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury sustained while using the company's equipment.

  12. As the hirer of this equipment, I agree to wear all safety equipment provided and understand fully that it is my responsibility to ensure that all users of the hire equipment wear the appropriate safety equipment and that they fully understand the relevant operating and safety requirements for the hire equipment.

  13. I agree to abide to all laws and regulations that may be relevant to the use of the hire equipment that may include local, state and federal laws. I agree to take responsibility for any fines or legal actions that may be imposed in relation to the hire equipment in my possession from the time of pick up to the time returned.

  14. I understand that the use of the hire equipment involves a level of risk and danger that I am willing to accept.

  15. I agree to read all of the supplied safety and operating instructions for the hire equipment mentioned on this rental agreement. Should I not understand ANY of these operating or safety instructions, or do not receive professional guidance, I agree not to use the equipment until I have a complete and full understanding of how to safely operate the hire equipment.

  16. As the hirer of this equipment I understand and agree to all of the above mentioned terms and conditions of hire.


Cancellation Policy

In the unfortunate case where you have to cancel your booking for hire gear the following details any cancellation fees that may be payable.


All bookings cancelled more than 21 days from the agreed pick up/delivery date will not incur any cancellation fees.


Bookings cancelled between 2 days and 20 days from the agreed pick up/ delivery date will incur a minimum $20.00 cancellation fee.


Bookings cancelled 48 hours or less before the pick up/delivery date will incur a cancellation fee totaling 20% of the total hire price for the booking (minimum cancellation fee is $20.00).


Bookings that are postponed to a later date will not incur any cancellation fees.

No warranty or guarantee is supplied with these items.
